The Phoenix Mountains Preservation Council (PMPC) is an independent, nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to supporting the protection and preservation of desert mountain preserves. All “preserve lands” are owned and maintained by the City of Phoenix. PMPC serves solely as an advocate for the expansion, protection, and stewardship of these lands. We work collaboratively with the City of Phoenix Parks & Recreation Department, City officials, and various Boards and Commissions where and when appropriate.
