202 Freeway
New information - See a letter from the Gila River Indian Community HERE
Please take a moment and contact the following elected representatives. Ask that they:
Help Save South Mountain by contacting the Gila River Indian Community to see if they will, at this point in time, consider an alignment of the western 202 freeway on their land.
Reducing or eliminating damage to South Mountain Preserve is possible. Worth noting too that any consideration of realignment onto the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC) land should include a complete Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
